Pure white innocence, © Sussi Charlotte Alminde, Denmark, 2nd Place, National Awards, 2017 Sony World Photography Awards I had a clear idea with this Picture when I first saw our friends GIANT rabbit. I wanted the girls to have white clothes on. Because of the symbolism of white color and the completely match between the girls and the bunny and the bright surroundings on the North Sea coast. The girls were great to express tenderness though it was difficult for them to stand there. Because It blew so fiercely that we all got the grain of sand in the eyes. I was considering removing their goose bumps, but agreed with me though that I would keep it authentic. The photo was taken 10. August 2016 and the girls are my daughter Malou and her girlfriend Liva.
